The scarf is handcrafted in Arequipa, Peru , the heart of textile art. KUNA uses only the finest natural fibers such as alpaca, vicuña, silk, and Pima cotton. With every purchase, you also support environmental and social programs that benefit Peruvian Andean communities and alpaca herders.

What is Royal Alpaca?
Royal Alpaca is the finest and most exquisite quality of alpaca fiber. Only about 1–2% of the world's alpaca wool meets the criteria to be classified as "Royal".
Fiber thickness: less than 19 microns (for comparison: human hair has a fiber thickness of approximately 50–100 microns)
Exceptionally soft: feels almost like cashmere, but is more durable
Light & warming: Royal Alpaca is extremely light, provides excellent insulation and regulates temperature – warming in winter, cooling in summer.
Hypoallergenic: unlike sheep's wool, it contains hardly any lanolin, therefore also suitable for sensitive skin.
Durable: due to its high quality, Royal Alpaca retains its shape and beauty even with frequent use.
Royal Alpaca is therefore a true luxury material that feels silky, almost weightless on the skin and at the same time impresses with its natural functionality.
